plumbing

I'm feeling really grumbly today...
the plumbing backed up and ran
water from the washing machine into
the toilet and bathtub. the toilet ran over
onto the floor and made a huge mess.
It has been raining so much the past two
months that the ground is saturated
and besides that we know the line outside to
the street is eventually going to have to be
redone. of course there is no budget money
for plumbing...and so we are trying to
figure out what to do.

I really don't like plumbing problems.
there is only one toilet and now we
have to be careful about flushing only
when necessary....like in Mexico...
but this is not mexico and so I feel mad
about it!!! I never like this kind of thing
but somehow in mexico it seemed normal
and here it doesn't.
