most of last week 3 of my kids had the swine flu. it was scary.
they had high fever and no appetite...and didn't move around
much. that bothers me the most because i know they felt really bad. not only that but our pediatrician said he had the flu the week
before and was sicker than he had ever been. not encouraging news!!
anyway, i figured we would get it, too. but not yet. maybe not at all? we will see. should know in a few more days.
so, after all that and some rainy days, too, the sun has been shining
and outside is so beautiful. I sat out with the kids a couple of days
ago soaking up the sun and eating lemon popsicles. it was a perfect
afternoon. in spite of the clouds and cooler temps, a marigold had
another bloom.
so i took a picture.

Ugh. I hate the flu. My sister had it and recovered. It is hitting my home town hard, but so far not where we are.
Oh, no! So sorry to hear they've been sick! I got a bit behind on my reading, sorry, or I would have known about this sooner! :( Anyway, I find it ironic that several people I know back home in the U.S. have had the swine flu, while we here in Mexico have been spared so far...they say it will be back with a vengeance this winter and I imagine then that we might get it then...

some articles I read said those who lived throught the outbreak in the 70's and late 80's might be immune...so we are hoping that's us!!
