well, I've been so busy since my trip to Denver.
School takes the prize for time consuming this month.
I love homeschooling my kids. I love learning with them.
But, now we are at a point where we all want summer to come
so we can take some time off. However, before that comes
we must finish some papers on South America, learn more Algebra,
finish biology, and pay some special attention to parts of
speech. Sometimes, I wonder how important some of this stuff
is... like parts of speech or how to diagram sentences. I think
its easy and don't mind doing it but, when a kid struggles with
it and doesn't get the point I don't always know how to explain
the value of it.

on another note...a hummingbird came to my feeder yesterday.
the first of the season. I was so pleased..I laughed out loud
and said to it "you finally came home"....
I know that sounds silly, but that's what happened.

Denver was beautiful. It snowed about 12 inches
while I was there. I tromped through the snow for
blocks and blocks...trying out my boots I took along
just in case. I enjoyed
drinking coffee in my girl's Starbucks. I rode the bus and
got off at the wrong stop...walked 3 blocks to find
out I was at the wrong place...got back on the bus to ride
some more and finally reached my destination...
went to see some rocky mountains covered with snow.
Left a huge part of my heart in Denver...with a little girl
I love so much!
