the BIG snow

now i know if you live in a place where it snows a lot this will make you
laugh.
but, here, where it only snows occasionally and usually only once or twice per
year...this is big.

this is snow # FOUR.




its the biggest so far and its Beautiful.




we spent most of the day yesterday drinking warm drinks, and
watching the snow fall. billy did take the kids out for a long
walk in the afternoon. i think they walked nearly three miles.






i sat for hours by the sliding glass door and watched birds.
sometimes there were at least 8 cardinals on the back porch at
one time. but when i tried to take pics they usually flew away.
i did get a lot of pics of one or two birds at a time.
they are just so lovely against the snow!
